Our values
As they develop their individual, self-confident and self-reliant personalities, our children need love, attention and the opportunity to learn skills, but also limits and challenges. Based on these values, Toddlers offers an environment where such personalities can be developed.
- At Toddlers, the children are always the first and foremost priority. This is the continuous focus of our commitment.
- We believe that children need clear structures and a clearly defined framework within which they can freely explore but also develop themselves.
- Love, caring attention, but also actively taught skills are the pillars of our educational concept. We therefore pursue the approach of a (partially) enclosed concept with key carers in order to create an atmosphere where children receive the individual attention and educational guidance they need.
- Diversity is more than different genders, nationalities or cultural roots. It also encompasses differences in personality, in abilities and skills, and personal experiences. Toddlers embraces all of this diversity and supports the children in their development of personalities that are responsible, open, and tolerant, with strong social skills.
- The best way to support our children’s development is through play. We believe that music and language skills, and age-appropriate development of body awareness, are key elements of a child’s development. That is why Toddlers places special emphasis on bilingualism, music and physical activity.
- Parents are primarily responsible for the development and happiness of their children. For this reason, Toddlers is a “participatory association”. We value active participation and taking responsibility.
- The people who work here are the foundation of our daycare centre. Our values are always reflected in the search for, engagement and development of our early years educators; our commitment to them extends beyond mere employment.
Our creed
“Childhood is a time to be enjoyed.”
